GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE MAINTENANCE KIT
Designgreen, in collaboration with Natural Resources Design, received funding to create a practical toolkit for maintaining green infrastructure. This toolkit supports the ongoing care of RiverSmart School projects and is designed with a hands-on approach for garden coordinators, volunteers, educators, parents, and students. The resources emphasize the key skills and knowledge needed to sustain RiverSmart Schools installations across Washington, D.C. The toolkit includes five narrated PowerPoint presentations (each about 10 minutes long), real-world case studies, reference materials, and a field manual organized with easy-to-follow checklists.
